Innocap Investment Management Inc. (“Innocap”) is pleased to announce the appointment of François Rivard as President and Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Rivard was previously Head of the Financial Product Group at National Bank of Canada (one of Innocap’s parent companies) where he was responsible for all of the engineering and distribution of structured derivatives-based investments globally. Under his leadership, the group received various industry awards acknowledging creativity, quality of product and overall achievements. During his 16 years in the industry, he has held various senior functions in capital markets and wealth management in Toronto, Montreal and London. Mr. Rivard received an MBA from Ashridge Business School (City University of London) and a BBA from Bishops University.

This nomination follows Denis Parisien’s decision to step down from his functions to assume a new role as part of the proprietary capital investment team of National Bank of Canada. For the past 14 years, Denis Parisien has been instrumental in building Innocap into a world class hedge fund managed account platform recognized for its strong infrastructure and commitment to provide investors with suitable solutions for their hedge fund allocations. Under his leadership, the firm has raised over US$2 billion of assets, from institutional and high net worth clients, while establishing a strong international brand.
